For UK-to-Ireland removals travelling through the freight channel, Revenue requires a valid Pre-Boarding Notification (PBN) ID before the vehicle checks in with the ferry company.
Potentially. Revenue’s transfer-of-residence relief can apply to qualifying personal and household belongings when moving to Ireland from outside the EU. Among the conditions, you generally need to have lived outside the EU for at least 12 consecutive months and have possessed and used the goods for at least six months before the move.
