In 2020, the business reached another major milestone when we became European Removal Services Ltd, reflecting our continued growth and long-term commitment to providing professional international removal services.

During the same year, we also became proud members of the National Guild of Removers and Storers (NGRS), demonstrating our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, customer service and industry best practice.

Expanding Our Reach

Around 2013, we invested in a completely new website as part of our long-term growth strategy. This enabled us to showcase our services to a much wider audience and expand into new locations across the UK and Europe.

By promoting our services in multiple towns, cities and countries, we established ourselves as a trusted name in European household removals. As demand continued to grow, we expanded our fleet, strengthened our network of trusted partners and increased the number of international moves we completed each year.

This investment marked another significant milestone in our journey, helping European Removal Services become one of the UK’s leading specialists in European removals.

2013

Embracing the Digital Age

As the internet transformed the way people searched for services, we recognised the opportunity early. We invested in building one of our first websites at a time when many removal companies still relied solely on printed directories and traditional advertising.

Establishing a strong online presence enabled us to reach customers throughout the UK and Europe, significantly expanding our customer base. As more people searched online for international removal companies, our business grew rapidly, allowing us to invest further in our fleet, our team and the services we offer today.

2000

Where Our Journey Began

As opportunities grew, we began working with a Cyprus-based international shipping company, shipping containers of personal effects and vehicles through the Port of Liverpool.

We customs cleared the containers before unloading and distributing household goods and personal effects to destinations throughout the UK. This marked the beginning of our international removals and customs expertise, laying the foundations for the business we are today.

Recognising the growing opportunities within the international removals industry, we expanded beyond local removals. We began advertising the traditional way through the Yellow Pages, covering the North West of England and the London area, where demand for European removals was rapidly increasing.

As enquiries grew, so did our reputation. What started as a local removals business soon developed into a specialist international removals company, providing professional moving services between the UK and Europe.
